Ex-banker to Join British American Tobacco: Report

British American Tobacco, maker of Lucky Strike and Dunhill cigarettes, is planning to appoint a former governor of the Bank of Ireland as its new chairman, a newspaper reported Sunday. According to The Sunday Times, Richard Burrows, 63, will be named this week to succeed Jan du Plessis, who was announced as the new chairman of Anglo-Australian mining giant Rio Tinto in March.
