In Honor of Ramón Ciefuentes: Benji's Partagas Source from: CigarAficionado.com 08/10/2009 Fifty-seven years ago, Benjamin Menendez drew his first paycheck from the cigar industry. Today, he's still going strong, and has put his name on a special cigar made to honor one of his mentors, the late and legendary Ramón Cifuentes.
The cigar is called the Benji Menendez Partagas Master Series Majestuoso, a Dominican cigar made with a blend of Cameroon wrapper, Havana seed binder grown in Connecticut, piloto Cubano filler from the Dominican Republic, and two types of Nicaraguan filler--ligero from the Estelí region and leaf from the volcanic island of Ometepe.
