New Government to Speed-Up Bulgartabac Sale

Bulgaria's new government, which was voted in on July 5, has suggested that it will act speedily to privatize Bulgartabac, according to a Novinite story. The new Economy, Energy and Tourism Minister, Traycho Traykov, said yesterday that previous governments had missed the right time to privatize the state-owned tobacco manufacturer. But, he added, the new government could speed up the process and sell the company by the end of this year through a public tender. Enditem
