General Tobacco Appoints Antonio Zeppa as Director of National Accounts

Mayodan-based General Tobacco (GT) today announced the appointment of Antonio Zeppa as director of national accounts. Zeppa will be responsible for overseeing the national account team and will be working with key regional and national accounts to improve General Tobacco's market penetration. "Zeppa brings a new energy and a strategy maximizing available channels of distribution to better compete with market leaders," said Vidal Suriel, President and CEO of General Tobacco. Previous to joining General Tobacco, Zeppa spent 27 years with Brown & Williamson and RJ Reynolds holding various management positions including Regional Director, Director of National Accounts, and Account Executive. Zeppa is a native of Dearborn Heights, Michigan. He earned his bachelor's degree from Bemidji State University in Minnesota and a master's degree from Central Michigan University. He currently resides in Prospect, Kentucky.
