Appointment at Swedish Match

Tony Rickardsson has been appointed area manager Eastern Europe for Swedish Match Continental Europe, a position he will take up on October 1 when he takes over from Åke Wiktorsson. According to a Swedish Match press note, Rickardsson will represent the complete Swedish Match International (SMI) division portfolio, including Cricket and Feudor disposable lighters, Korona matches and fire related products, and Macanudo and Salsa cigars. Rickardsson won six individual and three team world championship titles in speedway racing from 1994 to 2005. He will report to Håkan Söderberg, COO and head of Continental Europe within SMI. Enditem
