Camilleri Compensation up 68 Per Cent Last Year Source from: Tobacco Reporter 03/30/2009 Philip Morris International's CEO, Louis Camilleri, received a 68 per cent rise in his 2008 compensation, according to an Associated Press analysis of a regulatory filing made yesterday.
Camilleri, who oversaw in March last year the spin-off of PMI from its former parent, Altria, was said to have received compensation valued at $36.9 million, most of it in stock awards.
In 2007, as chief executive of Altria, which then owned both PMI and Philip Morris USA, Camilleri was given roughly $22 million in compensation. Enditem
