Shanghai Tobacco Group Wins Great Success in Export

Shanghai Tobacco Group virtually turned itself into the No. 1 cigarette exporter of China's tobacco industry in 2008 by exporting 50.1236 billion cigarettes, including the export of Zhongnanhai brand cigarettes in agency, which accounted for 36.69 percent of the total cigarette exports by the tobacco industry, and earned 114 million U.S. dollars, accounting for 45.79 percent of the total cigarette export earnings by the tobacco industry in the year. In particular, Chunghwa, the Red Double Happiness and Zhongnanhai for first time ever became the Top Three Chinese cigarette brands in terms of the annual export volume in the year.
