Zhaotong Cigarette Factory Renamed Hongta Zhaotong on Dec.10

On Dec. 10, Zhaotong Cigarette Factory, one cigarette factory in Yunnan, changed named to Hongta Zhaotong Cigarette Factory. It means it has became one subsidiary of Hongta Group. "It's a win-win strategy for both parties," said Cao Jianfang ,deputy governor of Yunnan. Hongta Zhaotong Cigarette Factory will produce Hongtashan and Hongmei brands from 2009. Hongta Group will carry out technology reform to improve the capacity of Hongta Zhaotong Cigarette Factory. Hongta Group is one of key cigarette factory in China tobacco industry and has kept steady develop in recent years. Hongta Group expected to reach 24.8 billion yuan on taxes and profits. It owns famous cigarette brands such as Yuxi, Hongtashan, Hongmei, which rank top 20 Chinese cigarette brands. Enditem
