Kentucky Burley Co-op is buying

The Burley Tobacco Growers Cooperative Association in Lexington, Kentucky announced Monday that it is buying more than 1 million pounds of tobacco from members. The purchases began in mid-October. To sell tobacco to the co-op, burley producers should schedule an appointment with a contracted grader for an on-farm inspection, according to the co-op. For more information, call (859) 252-3561.
