ITM and FlexLink link up

ITM and FlexLink are to co-operate in a venture that will allow them to offer systems for the transport of cigarettes, filter rods and cigarette packages. A press note issued yesterday said that ITM would use FlexLink components within its mass flow applications for cigarettes and filters, while FlexLink would focus on pack, carton and case handling applications, and no longer supply mass flow systems. 'ITM is the world leader in rod handling and FlexLink is the world leader in the handling of packaged tobacco products,' the press note said. 'By this co-operation the tobacco manufacturers will receive the best combination of products, expertise and service.' Enditem
