Lorillard Tobacco Co. has appointed Houghton Lewis as vice president and treasurer. A native of Wilmington, Delaware, USA, Lewis was previously employed as corporate treasurer with Smithfield Foods in Smithfield, Virginia. He earned a master's degree in finance from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts.
