General Tobacco Working Three Shifts Source from: tobaccoreporter.com Oct 21, 2008 10/22/2008 General Tobacco says that its newly-established plant at Mayodan, in Rockingham County, North Carolina, is now fully operational, with all of its production lines running three shifts a day.
The company announced last year that it was moving to an established facility in the area after getting more than $2 million in grants from the city, county and state.
The Miami-based cigarette manufacturer has 110 employees at its Mayodan plant, and plans to hire more workers on all three shifts, according to local reports. Enditem
