Des Moines Store's Double Windows Protect Tobacco Products

Would-be thieves were thwarted by a back-up window in their attempt to break into Tobacco Outlet Plus over the weekend. Des Moines police said someone tossed a landscaping brick into the front window of the business at 3409 S.W. Ninth St. It shattered the first window, causing $1,500 in damage, but it did not go through a second window. Police officers were planning to pick up a security video to see if they could identify the culprits. The incident occurred at 1:08 a.m. Sunday. Enditem
