Cigarette Factory Promotes Use of Environment-Friendly Material as Packaging Inner Liner

Nanchang General Cigarette Factory in east China's Jiangxi Province - a key Chinese tobacco manufacturer - is making efforts to promote the use of vacuum aluminum-plated inner lining paper that is naturally degradable as an environment-friendly cigarette packaging material. Since the beginning of August, Nanchang General Cigarette Factory has been using vacuum aluminum-plated inner lining paper as part of the packaging of its Mount Lushan brand cigarettes (the Yellow Super specification) on the basis of experiments, in substitution for composite aluminum-foil paper. In efforts to make vacuum aluminum-plated inner lining paper suitable to the normal operation of packing machines, the cigarette making and packing workshop of the factory has managed to technically transform the mobile folder on the cart aluminum paper folding part of the cigarette packing machine. After repeated readjustments and experiments, the technically transformed packing machines can basically meet the requirement of cigarette production with vacuum aluminum-plated inner lining paper. On the basis of success already achieved, steps will be taken to improve other parts of packing machines, in order to make them better compatible to the use of vacuum aluminum-plated inner lining paper.
