Angola: Youth Deputy Minister Works in Lunda-Norte Province

The Angolan deputy minister of Youth and Sports, Gonçalves Muandumba, left this Friday morning for the north-eastern Lunda-Norte Province, where he will lay the first foundation stone of the social project to build 92 residences, in the ambit of the "Angola Youth" programme, aimed at lessening the difficulties that young people face. The project comprises the construction of 2000 houses countrywide, which will benefit, in the first phase, young married couples who do not have their houses. The funds for the construction of the referred project come from the sale of non essential goods such as luxurious cars, alcoholic drinks and tobacco, from which the government discounts a one per cent sale tax in each transaction. The politician, who will also meet with the local officials, is to end his work mission this Friday in this diamond-rich province. Enditem
