the world's leading supplier of surface and web inspection systems for strip products - now equips Glatz Feinpapiere PM8 in Neidenfels, Germany, and thus completes the Parsytec inspection infrastructure at this production site.
Glatz Feinpapiere, an internationally renowned paper manufacturer, operates four paper machines at his production site in Neidenfels, Germany. This newly ordered inspection system of Parsytec's latest inspection solution will be installed at Julius Glatz' PM8, a specialty paper line. At the lines in Neidenfels, mainly cigarette papers are manufactured.
The inspection results acquired and assessed by the systems installed at PM2, 5, 6 and 8 support determining defect causes much faster and more reliable. Julius Glatz uses the quality data for example to influence and adjust cleaning cycles, the treatment of periodic defects, and in order to react appropriate and in time to defect trends or to optimize the slitting.
Renato Parun, Worldwide Director Sales: "This order by Julius Glatz underlines our technological leadership and confirms espresso SI as the new standard in web inspection - groundbreaking for other specialty paper producers in order to produce at the same quality and quantity level. We regard this as a signal for the expanding Asian paper market, where the production of cigarette papers constitutes a large part of the paper industry."
