Madan Mohan Monocha has patented the rights to his 'Innovative' cigarette packets in India. Consisting of cigarettes of all sizes from 50mm to 100mm, mainly consisting of 69mm, 73mm, and 84mm in different configurations, the new innovative designed packets also contains a carbonated side panel to light the cigarette. This eliminates the need of carrying a matchbox or lighter. The packet would benefit a large number of people as it shall get rid off the need for a match box and gas lighter and further more they would be in position to buy the cigarettes in their pack capacities of 2, 4 and 5 with an inbuilt area hosting match sticks. This all requires very few and simple changes in the manufacturing of cigarette boxes, which contains cigarettes. The matchsticks are duly pasted or simply inserted in the specially designed chambers. In India, the market leading brands are Gold Flake, Wills (flake, navy cut, and classic) and Red & White. Enditem
