Puros Indios Maker Ready with New Brands

Reyes Family Cigars, formerly known as Puros Indios, has put the final touches on two new brands, which were first discussed in 2007. Premier, wrapped in a maduro Ecuadoran Sumatra leaf, is being made with an all-Nicaraguan bunch, combining tobaccos grown in the Condega and Jalapa areas of the Central American country. The cigar will come in five sizes, retailing for $6 to $9 apiece. Classic will also have an Ecuadoran Sumatra wrapper, but it will be the natural shade, not a maduro. The binder will be identical to the wrapper, and the filler a mix of Dominican, Brazilian, Nicaraguan and Ecuadoran tobaccos. There will be four sizes in the brand, which will be priced from $4.50 to $6. Reyes Family Cigars makes its cigars in Honduras, but never uses Honduran tobacco. The cigars are currently being sold in South Florida cigar shops, and will go on sale nationwide this month. Enditem
