Vietnamese Delegation visits Hongta's Subsidiary to Strengthen Exchange

A delegation from the State-run Vietnam National Tobacco Corporation (Vinataba), led by Vinataba Board Chairman Nguyen Thai Sinh, paid a visit to the Dali Cigarette Factory of Hongta Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province on June 9 to strengthen mutual exchange in anticipation of possible cooperation between the two sides. Deputy Executive Governor Huang Yonghua of Dali Prefecture received the Vietnamese delegation. During the visit, Huang briefed the Vietnamese delegation on the construction of Hongta's core raw materials supply base, burley growing, leaf tobacco production, etc in Dali, as well as the basic situation of the Dali Cigarette Factory and its technical transformation process. He expressed the hope that the two sides could further strengthen cooperation and exchange in such fields as tobacco production, tourism, cultures, etc. Speaking on the same occasion, Vinataba Board Chairman Nguyen Thai Sinh briefed Huang on the development of Vietnam's tobacco industry, and said that his current visit is aimed at further strengthening communication and exchange between Vinataba and the Dali Cigarette Factory of Hong Group – the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer. According to Nguyen, he very much hopes that the two sides would develop extensive exchange and cooperation in terms of human resources development, technology, tobacco production, processing, etc. He said that Vinataba will do all it can to support cooperation with Hongta Group. On April 14, another delegation of Vietnam's tobacco industry already paid a visit to Dali Cigarette Factory of Hongta Group. Enditem
