Swedish Match Appoints Dahlgren as New CEO

The board of directors of Swedish Match (SM) has appointed Lars Dahlgren as the new president and CEO of the Swedish Match Group effective June 1. He will succeed Sven Hindrikes, who will be retiring this year. Dahlgren joined SM in 1996 and has held several management positions within the group, in Sweden as well as internationally. He was appointed CFO and senior vice president in 2004. Also on June 1, Joakim Tilly, 38, will succeed Dahlgren as CFO and senior vice president of the group. Tilly joined SM in 1994 and is currently senior vice president group finance. Enditem
