Logista Q1 Net Drops 12.2 pct to 28.9 mln Eur on Slowdown in Tobacco Price Rises

Cía de Distribución Integral Logista SA said net profit fell 12.2 percent to 28.9 million euros in the first quarter to March, mainly hit by a slowdown in tobacco price increases. In a statement, Logista said sales fell 4.3 percent to 218.2 million euros, while EBITDA stood at 45.3 million. The acceptance period for Imperial Tobacco Group unit Altadis SA's bid for the outstanding Logista shares which it does not own ended Tuesday. The bid was at 52.5 euros per share.
