Five Arrested for Selling Tobacco to Minors Source from: newstribune.com Mar 31, 2008 04/01/2008 A recent compliance check by the Missouri Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Control resulted in the arrest of five individuals on the charge of sale of tobacco to a minor.
In addition, five retail locations will face possible reprimands and/or suspension of sale of cigarettes and other tobacco products.
The offenders are:
€ Bee Line Snack Shop, 5805 Business 50 West. Selling Clerk: Terri J. Evers.
€ Rainbow Market, 4404 Rainbow Dr. Selling Clerk: Christopher R. Shelton.
€ Hy Vee Gas, 3723 W. Truman Blvd. Selling Clerk: Richard D. Drake.
€ The Smoke Shop, 4931 Business 50 West. Selling Clerk: Sarah L. Viet.
€ West Cole Market & Grill, 9821 Business 50 West. Selling Clerk: Kenny D. Baxter.
The following is a listing of businesses visited where sales of tobacco was refused:
€ Break Time,1200 Missouri Blvd.
€ Break Time, 3000 Truman Blvd.
€ Westview Mini Mart, 5114 Old Lohman Rd.
€ Convenient Food Mart, 3714 W. Truman.
€ Gerbes SuperMarket, 2805 W. Truman.
