China Tobacco Machinery Corp. held working meeting of 2008 on March 4 and 5. Deputy director of STMA Li Keming attended the meeting and gave a speech. Li Keming commended the excellent results of 2007. The tobacco machinery has showed good developing trend in 2007. Li said that tobacco machinery enterprises should focus on the key tasks of tobacco industry. Enterprises should make efforts to improve tobacco machinery technology level. The industry should launch technology development programme on super high speed machine group and Chinese-style cigarettes cutting lines. Tobacco industrial enterprises and cigarette industrial enterprises should establish close cooperation relationship. It is also important to improve management of enterprises, he added. Managers of STMA Economic Operation Department, and the related persons of China Tobacco Machinery Corp. and enterprises attended the meeting. Enditem
