General Tobacco Begins Production in Mayodan

General Tobacco began manufacturing and distributing cigarettes and other tobacco products at its new Mayodan facility today. Using new high-speed German-engineered manufacturing equipment, General Tobacco produced its first run of Broncos. It will soon begin producing the GT One, Silver and 32 Degree cigarettes as well as Vaquero Little Cigars as additional machines are put into service. The corporate and manufacturing relations to Mayodan from Miami is ahead of schedule, with two lines currently in full production. Enditem
