The following liquor and tobacco licenses were approved by the Edwardsville City Council during the Dec. 18 meeting: Liquor sale licenses, costing $750 each, were approved for: Club Centre MotoMart, Edwardsville MotoMart, CVS Pharmacy, QuikTrip, Gas Mart #41, Edwardsville Frozen Foods, The Store, Handee-Mart, Ron's Shell, Schnucks, Shop 'n Save, Convenient Food Mart, Joe's Market Basket, Dierbergs Markets and Edwardsville BP Amoco.Tobacco sale licenses, $50, were approved for: American Legion Post 199, Club Centre Moto Mart, Convenient Food Mart, CVS Pharmacy, Edwardsville BP Amoco, Gas Mart #41, Dierbergs, Loyal Order of the Moose, Edwardsville Moto Mart, Farm Fresh, Handee-Mart, Market Basket LLC, Knights of Columbus, Milo's Tobacco, Quik Trip, Ron's Shell Service Center, Rusty's Restaurant, Schnucks, Shenanigans, Shop 'n Save, Stagger Inn Again, Tha Grind, The Store and Walgreens.
