3 Arrested in Illicit Cigarette Seizures

Customs officers have arrested three men, seizing 1.36 million illicit cigarettes worth $2.03 million from a mobile distribution centre in Fanling and a cross-boundary lorry. The cigarettes have a duty potential of $1.09 million. Officers shut down the illicit cigarette distribution centre yesterday and later stopped the lorry at Lok Ma Chau Control Point and found it containing the contraband cigarettes.
