Morton Cracks Down on Tobacco Use Source from: Monday, Dec 3, 2007 WMBD WYZZ TV 12/05/2007 Morton - Sixteen tobacco retailers were inspected and three were found to be in violation of the law by selling tobacco to a minor.
With the help of the Illinois Liquor Control Commission's "Kids Can't Buy 'Em Here" Tobacco Enforcement Program, the Village of Morton has been educating tobacco dealers on age laws.
The compliance check run through June 2008 and are part of an annual campaign aimed at keeping tobacco products out of the hands of kids. Enditem
