One Seat Vacant on Tobacco Settlement Advisory Board

The Solano County Board of Supervisors is seeking qualified applicants for a seat of the Master Tobacco Settlement Advisory Committee. Interested individuals should have an understanding of one or more of the following topics, the board said in a news release: Funding processes and financial planning for health and social services programs; primary and preventive health care for indigent populations; or reducing rates of tobacco, alcohol and other drug use. The supervisors will appoint one new member to this committee. Appointments are for two- to three-year terms, and the committee is espected to meet once a month.
