Kaymich Acquires Grant

C.B. Kaymich & Co. Ltd. has acquired CA Grant Ltd, an engineering company in Sheffield, United Kingdom. Kaymich director Michael Bedford believes the acquisition brings several benefits to both companies. "CA Grant have already some involvement in the cigarette industry through their range of cigarette marking dies," he says. "The resources that Kaymich can provide will allow them to expand that market." In turn, Kaymich will be able to use CA Grant's engineering resources. Kaymich has recently entered into an agreement with a major original equipment manufacturer, requiring a significant increase in engineering capacity. "Last year [2006-2007] was our most successful year ever in our 34 years and sales showed significant growth," says Bedford. "However, we cannot afford to be complacent. This investment is evidence of our commitment to our customers and will help ensure that Kaymich continues to be a leading innovator within the industry." Enditem
