Regional Tobacco Industry, Hongta Group Agree to Further Strengthen Strategic Cooperation

Top leaders of Sichuan-Chongqing Regional China Tobacco Industry Corporation and Hongta Group held talks in Chengdu, the provincial capital city of Sichuan, on October 10 on further strengthening of bilateral strategic cooperation in tobacco trade, pledging to cooperate with each other closely in promoting common business development. The agreement was reached between Liu Wandong, the Board of Directors chairman of Hongta Group, and Wu Yinglu, general manager of Sichuan-Chongqing Regional China Tobacco Industry Corporation. Liu was leading a delegation of Hongta Group on a visit to Sichuan-Chongqing Regional China Tobacco Industry Corporation. Both based in southwest China, Hongta Group is the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer while Sichuan-Chongqing Regional China Tobacco Industry Corporation is the operator of the tobacco industries in Sichuan Province and the neighboring Chongqing City. For years, Hongta Group and Sichuan-Chongqing Regional China Tobacco Industry Corporation have maintained close relations of strategic cooperation, and have kept promoting cooperation in the development of competitive cigarette brands, supply of raw materials and development of technologies in an in-depth way.
