$1.2 Million Worth Of Raw Tobacco Stolen In Brampton Source from: Monday October 29, 2007 CityNews.ca Staff 11/01/2007 Cigarettes are often targeted during thefts of convenience stores, but it's not often you hear about a heist of raw tobacco. But that's what police are dealing with after a sophisticated plan that saw a legitimate trucking company pick up four containers of the raw material from a CN Rail Yard in Brampton.
The containers were then taken to a trucking yard on Walker Drive and the suspects removed three of the containers on October 19th. Investigators were able to stop the theft of the last load.
