Super Fund's Tobacco Shares Stubbed out

Tobacco is now off the list of investments for the New Zealand Super Fund. The fund's Guardians have announced they are selling the $37.6 million worth of shares they currently hold in tobacco stocks. The shareholding is a shade under point-three percent of the fund's total assets. Guardians' chief executive Adrian Orr says the fund has decided investing in tobacco breaches responsible investment standards. Enditem
