Unakitan to Open Road Show for Privatization of Tekel Cigarette Source from: The New Anatolian / Ankara 26 September 2007 09/28/2007 A road show will be inaugurated in British capital of London for the privatization of Tekel Cigarette of Turkey.
Turkish Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan and Privatization Administration Chairman Metin Kilci will hold a series of talks with several investors within the framework of the road show program.
Companies such as JTI, BAT, Korean Tobacco and Imperial Tobacco, as well as several foreign funds and Turkish investors are expected to participate in the privatization tender.
Officials from Citigroup, which furnishes counselling services on Tekel Cigarette's sale, will also participate in the road show during which potential investors will be briefed on the process. The meetings will be held in London from September 27th to 28th.
According to sources, the privatization process of Tekel Cigarette is expected to be completed till the end of 2007. Enditem
