Retailers Warned Over Tobacco Sales Source from: September 4, 2007 cbc.ca CBC News 09/05/2007 The P.E.I. Health Department issued 29 warnings to Island retailers in August for selling tobacco to minors.
The warnings are published on the government's environmental health website.
Also on the website are warnings and offences cited under the department's Food Protection Program.
Three restaurants were cited last month for operating without the proper certification, while one restaurant, Jake's Bar on Pownal Street in Charlottetown, was cited for improper refrigeration temperatures. It was also told to improve its kitchen sanitation.
The province has given the restaurant until Wednesday to comply with the order. Enditem
