Candidates vie for Ohio Tobacco Festival Queen Source from: Written by Staff report Friday, 24 August 2007 08/27/2007 Four more candidates have entered the 2007 Ohio Tobacco Festival Queen Contest. This popular event will take place 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, at the main stage area on Front Street.
La'Norah Daina Morgen D'Andrea, 17, is from Ripley. She is the daughter of Daina L. D'Andrea and the late Thomas Michael D'Andrea and attends RULH High School.
Karah Layne Gould, 18, is from Aberdeen. She is the daughter of Kim Griffith and the late Jim Forman. Her stepfather is Dave Griffith. She attended Manchester High School and will be attending Maysville Community and Technical College.
Nicole Michele Iezzi-Blessing, 18, of West Union is the daughter of Lisa Iezzi and Daryl Blessing. A graduate of North Adams High School, she is now attending Wright State University.
Ashley Paige Leonard, 16, is the daughter of Jim and Bonnie Leonard of Ripley. She is a student at Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington High School.
Two candidates have been featured in The Ripley Bee.
Alexandra Stephanie Waters, 17, is from Williamsburg. She is the daughter of Mike Waters and Regina Waters and attends Western Brown High School.
Brittany Ann Dodson, 18, of Ripley is the daughter of David Dodson and Mary Dodson. She currently attends Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington High School. Enditem
