Oxford Man Sentenced for Tobacco Charges

An Oxford man received fines totalling more than $1,800 for a pair of tobacco-related offences. Gary Raymond Weatherbee, 46, entered guilty pleas to charges of possessing more than 1,000 grams of tobacco contrary to the Revenue Act and possessing tobacco not bearing the prescribed mark. He was also placed on probation for six months for possessing marijuana and ecstacy and must makea $500 donation to the United Way of Cumberland County.
