Annual Event Focuses on Tobacco Heritage Source from: myrtlebeachonline.com 08/06/2007 The Friends of the Horry County Museum will hold its third annual Tobacco Heritage Festival today.
The event will feature antique tractor, engine and equipment displays, demonstrations of hand-stringing and tying tobacco, children's activities and speakers.
The museum will house an exhibit showcasing the lifestyle of tobacco farm families from the 1930s through the 1960s.
The festival does not promote the use of tobacco products, but focuses on the history of tobacco. Enditem
