UK Tops EU Tobacco Prices Ladder

The retail prices of tobacco products in the UK last year were 205 per cent of the average price recorded throughout the EU's 27 states, according to a Novinite report quoting Eurostat findings. The next highest prices were recorded in Ireland, where they were 186 per cent of the average; France, 133 per cent; and Germany and Sweden, both 119 per cent.
