Tobacco Farm Life Museum Celebrates 24 Years Source from: tobaccofarmquarterly.com 06/26/2007 The Tobacco Farm Life Museum celebrates its 24th anniversary celebration on Sautrday, June 23 at the museum in Kenly, North Carolina. The museum has been a tribute to the long-ago days of rural tobacco farming and hosts visitors from all over the country.
The festivities include heritage demonstrations along with arts and crafts, food, animal displays and live entertainment.
On Sunday, June 24 the museum will continue the celebration with a "Sunday Under The Pines" program, with gospel music, an art exhibit and antique and custom cars and tractors. A tobacco stringing contest will be held, along with other kids' contests and an "oldest farmer" contest.
The museum is located on U.S. Highway 301 in Kenly, at exit 105 off Interstate 95.
