Alliance One Files 10-K After Restatements Delay Source from: Triangle Business Journal - June 22, 2007 06/26/2007 Morrisville-based Alliance One, which sells tobacco to cigarette companies, filed its annual report with regulators Friday.
The filing comes a week after Alliance One said the release of its annual 10-K report would be delayed because the company had to restate earnings for the first three quarters of fiscal 2007.
The company lost $21.6 million, or 25 cents per diluted share, in the fiscal year ending March 31. That's in line with what the company predicted it would report after it recalculated its earnings.
Alliance One (NYSE: AOI) did not say what it earned excluding discontinued operations and one-time costs. Last week, the company said it expected to exceed its previous estimates for that number of 25 cents to 32 cents per share for fiscal 2007. Enditem
