Unknown Tobacco Chosen by Key Tobacco Manufacturer

Flue-cured tobacco produced in northeast China's Liaoning Province, which remained relatively unknown for years, has become a favorite after a key Chinese tobacco manufacturer chose it as a raw material for making cigarettes. Recently, Chaoyang Tobacco Company in Liaoning received a big order from Qujing Cigarette Factory in southwest China's Yunnan Province for the supply of flue-cured tobacco. The tobacco industry of Liaoning views this development as a chance to rebuild its brands of tobacco products on the basis of the high reputation of brands of Qujing Cigarette Factory. Liaoning is a large tobacco-producing province in northeast China. The regions of Chaoyang and Tieling in Liaoning produce high-quality flue-cured tobacco which is a good raw material for cigarette making. As a result of lacking support from famous brands, the quality of flue-cured tobacco produced in Liaoning has not been widely recognized by big Chinese tobacco manufacturers. Since 2004, Liaoning Provincial Tobacco Company has invited technicians of Qujing Cigarette Factory to visit tobacco-growing regions in Liaoning many times. After repeatedly conducting chemical tests and analyses, they were able to prove that high-quality flue-cured tobacco produced in Liaoning can well be used as a raw material for cigarette making.
