Tobacco Growers to  Move Court

GUNTUR, AUG. 4. The All-India Virginia Tobacco Farmers' Association has decided to challenge the Centre's decision to allow 73.7 million kg crop size for Karnataka in the High Court. At a meeting of the association last night, it was resolved to fight the Government for regularising 29,300 unauthorised barns at the cost of the State farmers and bring it to the notice of the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy. The farmers decided to get the issue raised in Parliament through MPs from the State. Enditem
