PMI Shuts Down Hungary Plant

Philip Morris International (PMI) is closing its Eger, Hungary, facility because it is too small to be economically viable. The plant's downtown location prevents expansion. Zsolt Jamniczky, corporate communications director of Philip Morris Hungary, said the plant's production will be redistributed to PMI's other 10 factories in the EU. Enditem
