<strong>China: Guizhou Tobacco Science Institute Joints with Nanjing Agriculture University on Development Organic Fertilizer</strong>

In Guizhou, large area of tobacco fields met problems of soil harden degradation and bacterial wilt, which seriously affected the quality of flue-cured tobacco and income of tobacco farmers. Now the problems have solutions.

Guizhou Tobacco Science Institute jointed with professor Yang Xingming, expert of National Organic Biological Fertilizer Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, on development organic biological fertilizer. They used organic fertilizer production equipment developed by Nanjing Agriculture University to develop this filter. The tests were carried out in Guizhou Bailing Drug Company and Jinsha county both gained success. In Jinsha, the filter was made by vinasse.

The filter was adopted in tobacco production base of Xixiu district of Anshun city and achieved good results on tobacco planting. Enditem
