Field assessment and appraisal of "integration and application of crucial technologies for controlling fertilizer in tobacco production on the basis of quality improvement and efficiency promotion" carried out by Yunnan Academy of Tobacco Agricultural Sciences was conducted in Yao'an County of Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province on August 29.

The project of "integration and application of crucial technologies for controlling fertilizer in tobacco production on the basis of quality improvement and efficiency promotion" is intended to study major types of tobacco-growing soil and fertilizer supply characteristics of paddy rice field soil and explore crucial technologies for controlling fertilizer in tobacco production on the basis of quality improvement and efficiency promotion, through survey and study of the efficiency and status quo of chemical fertilizer application in tobacco-growing areas in Yunnan.
