<strong>China: County Government Delegation Visits Tobacco Subcompany</strong>

A delegation from Luliang County government, led by Director Yang Jian of the Office of Civilization of the county government, visited Luliang County Tobacco Subcompany in Luliang County of Qujing City in Yunnan on July 17, to offer guidance over the establishment of the tobacco subcompany as a city-level civilized institution.

During the visit, the delegation first of all inspected the place designated by the tobacco subcompany to give lectures on ethics in preparation for its establishment as a city-level civilized institution; offered specific guidance over the procedures and contents of the lectures, the background arrangements for the lectures, the development of a favorable atmosphere, etc; and gave detailed explanations about the standards and requirements for acceptance of institutions as city-level civilized institutions for 2014, and also differences in grading in previous years.

Afterwards, the delegation heard reports given by the chief of the Communist Party and Mass Work Section of the tobacco subcompany on the launch of activities of learning from Model Soldier Lei Feng, activities of volunteer service, activities of corporate culture development, etc in the establishment as a city-level civilized institution.
