On May 30, Germains Seed Technology, Inc.'s European Agricultural Director Carl Rand, Regulatory Affairs manager MS Veronique Heyes, European Gardening Research Center director Mr. Ab Aarnoudse visited Yuxi Tobacco Seed Company.

The three guests visited the greenhouses and sprouting, processing production line and quality control room, etc., and they highly praised the clean and tidy of seed processing and production environment, well-equipped and high degree of automation of workshops, the strength of seed processing production and seed quality.

During the meeting, Mr. Rand, Ms Heyes and Mr. Aarnoudse and researchers of Research and Development Department, and Processing Department discussed on seed processing, technology research and development, etc., among the existing problems and challenges faced by seed company. Mr. Rand and Mr. Aarnoudse gave some opinions and suggestions on how to solve some questions, and hoped in the future cooperation both sides can overcome difficulties and further enhance the level of technology.

This visit is a new starting point for the long-term cooperation of both sides. In the next step of the long term cooperation, the two sides will set up a Sino-British Tobacco Seed Technology Joint Laboratory, and carry out extensive technical cooperation and exchanges, and improve seed technical strength of both sides by technical personnel exchange visits and sharing research achievements.
