Bulgaria''s Bulgartabac Starts to Purchase Tobacco

Company Bulgartabac starts to purchase tobacco without further delay, the press centre of Bulgartabac announced the news for　FOCUS News Agency.

"According to calculations we made the amount of tobacco which has not been purchased yet is about 150 tonnes. We [intend to] start [the campaign] in the regions of Svilengrad and Harmanli," company officials said.

They believe if the tobacco market is to function in a better way amendments to the Tobacco and Tobacco Products Act are needed, such as a register of agreements; a register of tobacco-purchasing firms; a register of tobacco producers, and others. Enditem
