<strong>China: Five Domestic Cigarette Manufacturers Establishes Leaf Tobacco Bases in XunYang Shaanxi</strong>

In 2014, with the establishment of China Tobacco Shaanxi Industrial Corp's "Hao Mao (good cat)" brand leaf tobacco base in Zongxi, Xunyang, there have been five domestic cigarette manufactures which owns leaf tobacco base in XunYang, Shaanxi.

In recent years, Xunyang tobacco industry made efforts to build a mountain ecological characteristic tobacco brand, and invested 351 million yuan on tobacco facilities establishment, including water resources, roads, dense curing barns, seedling facilities and tobacco agricultural machineries, etc., and the comprehensive production capacity of tobacco fields has increased dramatically. The tobacco leaf output value has exceeded 300 million yuan in Xunyang. As the improvement of quality of leaf tobacco production, Xunyang's mountain ecological characteristics leaf tobacco favored by cigarette manufacturers. Since China Tobacco Fujian Industrial Corp. established Septwolves brand tobacco bases in 2011, Chunghwa brand of Shanghai Tobacco Group, Double Happiness brand of China Tobacco Guangdong Industrial Corp, Mountain Tai brand of China Tobacco Shandong Industrial Corp., and Hao Mao brand of China Tobacco of Shaanxi Industrial Corp. have established leaf tobacco bases in Xunyang, and 20 planting tobacco towns have became "the first workshop" of five cigarette manufacturers.
