China Tobacco Chuanyu Industrial Co., Ltd. – the operator of the tobacco industry in southwest China's Sichuan Province and neighboring Chongqing City – has recently increased the number of its exclusive high-quality core leaf tobacco production and supply bases for its competitive Pride cigarette brand to a total of 35, from the previous figure of 29.

It was learned from the Material Supply Center of China Tobacco Chuanyu Industrial Co., Ltd. on February 19 that the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration (STMA) has officially approved the application of China Tobacco Chuanyu Industrial Co., Ltd. for increasing six national-level units of exclusive high-quality core leaf tobacco production and supply bases.

As a result, China Tobacco Chuanyu Industrial Co., Ltd. has established in 12 provincial-level regions across China a total of 35 exclusive high-quality core leaf tobacco production and supply bases for its competitive Pride cigarette brand, of which 26 are national-level units and 18 are units for characteristic varieties, with a total area of more than 600,000 mu (more than 40,000 hectares), and with the total quantity of characteristic varieties reaching 1 million dan (5,000 hectares). With the addition of the new units, the raw materials supply guarantee capacity for Pride has been effectively promoted.

Over recent years, China Tobacco Chuanyu Industrial Co., Ltd. has managed to accelerate the process of establishing exclusive high-quality core leaf tobacco production and supply bases, keeping promoting its high-quality raw materials supply guarantee capacity to higher levels.
